Artist statement
Being Truly Known is an archive of gender euphoria, queer joy, and, trans community. The zine collates the responses of fifteen genderqueer people to the question “What does gender euphoria mean to you?”. Spanning from playful, personal and heartfelt, these writings and illustrations explore an intimate part of the genderqueer experience. The risograph prints, taken from the zine, explore aspects of queer connection, and states of embodiment, brought forth through conversations with the community.
