This work engages with painting as a technology of semiotics that seeks to resuscitate its present by retracing the tongues and hands previously never permitted within its borders.

Adopting the vernacular of ‘¸é²¹²Ô²µ´Ç±ô¾±â€™Â designs made in India- the pigments filtered through the perforated skin of the white-washed frames, stain the floor with the history of violence and loss they carry within every atom. Slogans of rebellion from India and Australia form ephemeral boundaries. Leaving only the ghost of its reverberated happenings in sight.
