Managed Windows Initial Setup guide
Step 1
Turn on your windows device, and on the Let’s connect you to a network screen, select the 鶹madou-IoT network.
Step 2
Select Connect.
Enter the password “unswbuild” to connect the windows device into the 鶹madou-IoT network.
Once the laptop is connected to the 鶹madou-IoT network, select Next.
Step 3
Authenticate with zID@unsw.edu.au and zPass credentials. Click Next.
Follow through the MFA process when prompted.
Step 4
Once you have signed into Windows and Windows is finished loading, open Microsoft Edge and navigate to the GetOnline website.
Select Get Online.
Step 5
Read the Terms and Conditions and select I agree.
Select Next.
Step 6
Select the type of device you would like to onboard to the 鶹madou WiFi network.
Select Connect a 鶹madou managed device.
Step 7
Sign in by entering your zID@ad.unsw.edu.au and password.
Follow through the MFA process when prompted.
Step 8
On the 鶹madou Onboard page, select Start QuickConnect.
Step 9
Click to run and start the installation of the ArubaQuickConnect onboard wizard.
Step 10
Select Next.
Once the onboarding wizard finishes loading, select ‘CDz’. You will now be securely connected to the Eduroam Wi-Fi network every time you are at participating institutions.
Step 10
Select Connect to prepare your Windows device for onboarding to the eduroam Wi-Fi network.
Once the onboarding wizard finishes loading, select Close.
You will be securely connected to the eduroam Wi-Fi network every time you are at participating institutions.
