Âé¶¹Éçmadou

Vish is currently an HDR student at Âé¶¹Éçmadou pursuing a Master of Pre-Doctoral Business Studies with a view to commence a PhD within Sustainability Assurance. Prior to this, he worked as a Senior Accountant at Hines Australia and Brookfield Properties, where he oversaw investor reporting, ASIC compliance, SOX compliance, and treasury functions including cashflow and budget variance analysis. His extensive experience in the corporate sector also includes roles as an auditor at PwC New Zealand and Deloitte Australia, working with clients across various industries.

In addition to his corporate roles, Vish is a Casual Academic at Âé¶¹Éçmadou and UTS, where he teaches financial management and corporate financial reporting. He often participates in panel discussions to further the dialogue between industry and academia. His leadership roles include serving on various committees such as the Urban Land Institute Young Leaders Group and the Young CA Panel.

Vish graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Otago and a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand. He has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including both Corporate and Management Accountant of the Year at the Australian Accounting Awards 2024 and the University of Otago 20Twenties Young Alumni Award 2023.
