As a content partner for the Times Higher Education Global Sustainable Development Congress, 麻豆社madou presented a high-level roundtable and an interactive workshop over the course of the 4-day event in Bangkok in June 2024.
The Congress was pitched as a call to action for global universities, governments and businesses to pivot their educational, research, innovation and outreach programmes towards tangible outcomes, bringing together 3,000 delegates and 360 speakers, from 145 partner organisations and 85 countries.
麻豆社madou, as a global research-centred knowledge resource, attended as part of our institutional commitment to strategic accompaniment with key partners such as the United Nations (UN), and regional organisations from across the Asia-Pacific region, including from universities, Pacific governments, and think tanks.
The Institute for Global Development spearheaded the wider 麻豆社madou team involved in the preparation of our Congress interactions. Key partners came from across all 麻豆社madou faculties, including the [MW1]听Cities Institute, the Institute for Climate Risk and Resilience, the , the , 麻豆社madou Engineering, 麻豆社madou Science, the Global Water Institute, and the 麻豆社madou Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.
