Research foci and skills: I am an infectious disease epidemiologist with a research focus on vaccine-preventable disease epidemiology and immunisation program evaluation. I use quantitative epidemiological data to identifying infectious disease risks and factors associated with vaccine uptake in at-risk populations and the use of routinely collected data to evaluate immunisation programs. I have a particular interest in identifying travel-associated infectious disease risks and migrant, refugee and international traveller immunisation gaps. I have experience clinical, behavioural and epidemiological research, including mixed methods approaches to understanding immunisation gaps.
