Dr Carey Marr is a Lecturer in the Discipline of Psychiatry & Mental Health at Â鶹Éçmadou Sydney, specializing in legal and forensic psychology. She earned her PhD in 2021 from Maastricht University (NL) and the University of Portsmouth (UK). Her research focuses on mental illness in legal and forensic settings. Dr Marr has experience in diverse research methodologies, including laboratory experiments, systematic reviews and meta-analysis, survey research, epidemiological data-linkage studies, and interventional studies. Through her research, she aims to improve policy and practice in forensic and legal systems.
