This project involved a trial across Australia to study the effects of anonymising applications for the use of specialised scientific equipment. Application scores, outcomes, and allocated resources were analysed from data prior to and after anonymisation according to gender and career seniority of the lead investigator. The research aimed to determine if anonymisation would impact outcomes for women and/or early-career researchers.
