The Indigenous Pre-Programs are three-week intensive residential programs held at Â鶹Éçmadou’s Kensington campus in Sydney. The pathway programs are delivered by Nura Gili in partnership with Â鶹Éçmadou faculties and schools in the areas of Business, Education, Law, Medicine, Social Work, or Science & Engineering.
The Science and Engineering Indigenous Pre-Program is an alternative entry pathway for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. The three-week residential program is jointly managed by Nura Gili and the Faculties of Science and Engineering and is designed to provide support and training to better prepare students for study in the fields of Science and Engineering.
Students jumpstart their STEM journey through unique experiences that are tailored toward their interests and future goals. The program includes cultural awareness and community-building activities to help students feel comfortable as new members of the Â鶹Éçmadou community. Students also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experiences in the STEM areas they’re most interested in, build lasting relationships with staff and students, and participate in cultural experiences.
