Staff and some students can access a number of Adobe applications simply by using your Â鶹Éçmadou credentials.

Adobe Creative Cloud for students

Adobe Creative Cloud is a set of applications and services from Adobe Systems that gives subscribers access to a collection of software used for graphic design, video editing, web development, and photography, along with a set of mobile applications and some optional cloud services.

Â鶹Éçmadou students can access Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) in specialised computer labs on campus.ÌýTo access the software in these areas, you'll be prompted to sign in using your zID@ad.unsw.edu.auÌýusername and password.

Adobe Creative Cloud for personal device installation is only available for eligible students who require access to these applications to complete their coursework or research.

Please see below if you're eligible for access to Adobe Creative Cloud.

  • Students in the Arts, Design & Architecture faculty with active enrolment in anÌýÌýreceive an individual Adobe CC license. This license allows installation on up to two personal devices for non-commercial research and education purposes. Access is updated each term during O week.

    If you haven't received access and need it for your course or program, complete the request form below for review by your faculty admin.

  • HDR students from the following faculties may be eligible for an individual Adobe CC license, this does not include Â鶹Éçmadou Canberra students. This allows students to install and use Adobe CC on up to two device(s) forÌýnon-commercial research and education purposes. If you require access to assist with your research, please contact your faculty/school admin office to discuss your requirements. Please note that depending on demand, some areas may have a waiting list.

    2. Sign in using yourÌýzID@ad.unsw.edu.auÌýusername and password
    3. Under the "Your Plan" section, you should see a button labelled "View all apps and services," which displays everything included in your subscription. If you do not have access, you will see the message "Your administrator hasn't assigned any apps or services to your account." In this case, refer to the information above to determine your eligibility and how to request access.

    2. Sign in to the Adobe CC desktop app using yourÌýzID@ad.unsw.edu.auÌýusernameÌýand password.
    3. Once you've successfully signed in, the Adobe CC portal will allow you to install your desired applications with a click of a button. Once installed, you can launch the app from the applications list on your device to start using it.

    There is no limit to how many devices you can install Adobe CC on with your Â鶹Éçmadou subscription. However, you can only activate the software with your account on two devices at any time.

    This application is available on Windows & Mac OS.

  • Â鶹Éçmadou does not recommend storing sensitive or highly sensitive data within Adobe’s cloud. If you choose to store any data within this cloud storage, please ensure it is backed up and saved within one of our Â鶹Éçmadou Supported Storage Platforms.ÌýMicrosoft OneDriveÌýis our recommended and supported platform for Cloud Storage across the University.

  • When subscribing to a personal Adobe CC account, please ensure youÌýdo notÌýuse your Â鶹Éçmadou email address when signing up. Using your Â鶹Éçmadou email address will prevent you from actively managing your account and result in login complications. To verify your eligibility, you will have to present your Â鶹Éçmadou student ID card to Adobe for verification.

    • Expiration and extension of this license allocation is at the discretion of Â鶹Éçmadou.
    • Â鶹Éçmadou Students are only entitled to access Adobe CC on their personally owned devices for non-commercial educational purposes.
    • If you terminate your relationship with Â鶹Éçmadou, you must uninstall this software.

Adobe Creative Cloud for staff

Adobe Creative Cloud is a set of applications and services from Adobe Systems that gives subscribers access to a collection of software used for graphic design, video editing, web development, and photography, along with a set of mobile applications and some optional cloud services.

The software is automatically available to all staff.ÌýTo use the software, go to your , and sign in with your zID@ad.unsw.edu.au username and password.

Adobe Stock

As well as enjoying the Adobe Creative Cloud applications in your plan, you now also have unlimited access to the Core Collection on Adobe’s creative assets marketplace Adobe Stock. Over 270 million photos, illustrations, vectors and templates.Ìý

This means you have access to:

  • Templates

Videos, audio and premium assets are not included.

Adobe Specialist

Adobe offers other applications that are not part of the Creative Cloud Suite. For information on how to purchase and gain access to other Adobe applications, please contact theÌýto raise a request.

Common applications that are not part of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite include:

  • Adobe CaptivateÌý- Is an authoring tool that is used for creating eLearning content such as software demonstrations, software simulations, branched scenarios, and randomized quizzes in Small Web Formats and HTML5 formats.
  • Adobe PresenterÌý- Is an eLearning software solution released by Adobe Systems available on the Microsoft Windows platform as a Microsoft PowerPoint plug-in, and on both Windows and OS X as the screen casting and video editing tool Adobe Presenter Video Express.
  • Adobe SubstanceÌý- Is a complete suite for object texturing and material authoring for your 3D projects. Discover the Substance product that can help you bring your wildest ideas to life. Explore the Substance ecosystem: tools and content dedicated to 3D material creation and application.

    • Please be aware that Adobe Cloud Storage is not a and should not be used to store sensitive or highly sensitive Â鶹Éçmadou data.
    • For further reference on data classification, please see the .
    • Please also refer to theÌýÌýfor storing all research and other sensitive data. We recommend that all users who are storing information within Adobe Cloud Storage to also maintain a back-up copy of their data within the appropriate supported storage platform(s).
    • Furthermore, Adobe does not store data in Australian jurisdiction so please use your judgement about what data you store on within this Cloud Storage platform.
    • This product is covered by a Â鶹Éçmadou-wide site licence and is available at no cost for non-commercial research and teaching purposes
    • Adobe Creative Cloud is a named-user subscription-based application suite that enables you to use up-to-date Adobe applications such as Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Illustrator and many more. You are able to define which apps to install on your device on-demand via the Creative Cloud Desktop Client without the need to contact IT to have these applications installed.
    • In addition to University-owned machines, Â鶹Éçmadou staff are entitled to access their Adobe Creative Cloud named-user license on their personally owned devices for work purposes, therefore staff members are no longer required to purchase separate licenses for home use.
